Each Limited Edition Vinyl LP Includes Two Art Prints Signed By Stephen

Stephen Kalinich first made his mark on the music scene in the 1960s when The Beach Boys recorded two songs he and Dennis Wilson wrote, “Little Bird” and “Be Still.” Stevie continued to collaborate with Dennis for his solo projects, and also supplied words to Brian and Carl, both for the Beach Boys and their own solo projects. He is the only cowriter to have worked with all three Wilson brothers. In fact, Brian and Stevie continue their friendship to this day, witness their song “A Friend Like You,” recorded by Brian as a duet with Paul McCartney.

Another manifestation of their friendship is the Brian Wilson produced A World Of Peace Must Come, Kalinich’s solo debut on which BW played as well. Brian encouraged Stevie to make a record on which he would sing, but back then he lacked the confidence to do it. Recently he partnered with producer/ songwriter Jon Tiven as a singing/songwriting duo, making two albums as Kalinich/Tiven that allowed him to express himself vocally. Scrambled Eggs is his first solo album on which he is the singer/ frontman, putting across his songs with some help from established vocalists like Frank Black/Black Francis, Bekka Bramlett, Dylan LeBlanc, Tara Holloway, and Ellis Hooks
